EV Chargers and Solar Power Installations

Solar PV Panels

  • What are Solar PV Panels?

Solar panels harness the power of the sun to generate electricity. They are also referred to as photovoltaic systems and convert energy from sunlight into electricity. Once installed, the production of energy is free.

  • How do Solar PV Panels work?

The panels are built from a semi-conductive material which generates electricity when the sunlight shines on the solar panels. That energy is then stored and can be used in your home.

  • Will Solar Panels Work For My Home?

You would need a roof area of 10m2 - 20m2 to generate 25 to 40% of your electricity, so enough space for the panels is required.

  • Why Choose Solar Panels?

Solar PV panels can reduce your home electricity bills because once you have paid for the installation, sunlight is a free commodity to produce your electricity. Also, they reduce your carbon footprint because solar electricity is renewable energy and doesn’t pollute the atmosphere.

  • Solar PV Panel Battery Storage

You can choose to install battery storage along with your solar panels because it gives your home a source of energy other than the national grid.
